A TV or any screen with a web browser
Anything with a modern web browser can show your wall. You pair it once; after that it opens your wall by itself.
- On the screen, open its web browser and go to hestiacalendar.com/tv. It shows a code like
WXYZ-1234and a square to scan. - On your phone, scan the square, or open hestiacalendar.com/link and type the code. Sign in if it asks.
- The screen turns into your wall within a few seconds. It stays paired: next time, opening hestiacalendar.com/tv goes straight to the wall.
- Make it full screen with the browser's fullscreen key or the ⛶ button that appears when you move the mouse.
Keep it on
- Turn off the screen's sleep or screen-saver setting, or set it to the longest time.
- If the browser can open a page on start-up, set it to hestiacalendar.com/tv, so the wall comes back after a power cut.
- At night the wall goes dark with a dim clock instead of sleeping; set the hours under Settings → General → Night screen.
To remove a screen, open Settings → Displays and press Remove next to its link. Each screen keeps its own shape, so a TV hung on its side can show the tall layout.
